This call is open to a wider field of artists beyond just the performing arts, such as writers, photographers, etc. or anyone who believes they can engage with the aforementioned theme of the project to produce new research or work.

Cecilia Molano
My work is developed between writing and image in a wide sense (drawing and filming) and It moves between different disciplines in an attempt to understand creation as an intellectual complex activity. (Let me know if that is enough or if you need an artist’ statement which I have already written in a more. Cecilia Molano works on performance (scenographer, creator or costume and video designer). Her pieces deal with the relation between narration and image. She has made filmic and performative pieces that also deal with her ongoing research. She also works as a graphic designer. She finished her PhD thesis at the Faculty of FineArts (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), with a distinction “cum laude” while she developed her research at the a·pass program in Brussels. She also holds a Master in Scenography at Saint Martins School of Arts, and Scenography degree, RESAD, Madrid carefully an detailed way)
